General

1. The prices stated above are inclusive of GST.

2. The prices above are for a full boat booking, the business we run is a private boat charter business. We generally do not offer "individuals" fishing experiences, except by exception. Please follow our facebook page to keep an eye out for when these opportunities arise, we are doing on average 2-3 per year. Alternatively consider the May Marie in the Bay of Islands or Sumo at Marsden Marina for this kind of trip.

2. An online deposit will be taken at the time of booking. If you provide 5 days notice or if weather prevents the trip being taken on the day, the option to reschedule will be provided at no cost or the trip deposit is fully refundable minus an online processing fee (~3%) which is not recoverable by Fish Tutukaka.

3. We will call you the night before your booking to confirm details and personalise your itinerary to ensure you have the best experience with us.

4. The balance of the booking is due the day before you take your trip. The same day your trip is booked online, you will automatically be emailed an invoice with payment details. 

5. If you do not have a New Zealand bank account to transfer the balance from, you have 3 options:

   a) pay the balance of your invoice in NZ dollars (cash) on the day;

   b) if you have a Wise account you can transfer from your Wise account to our Wise for business account. This incurs extremely low fees. If you do not have a Wise account and have the time and the inclination, it is possibly worth setting one up - www.wise.com.

If you would like to pay using Wise, please request a unique payment link. Payment is due 3 days before your trip for this payment method; or

   c) if you wish to pay via credit card, Stripe's processing fee of ~3.75% will be added to your outstanding balance in this instance (~$58 on a $1500 payment). This is why it may be worth setting up a Wise account for some.

6. Please bring your own drinks and food. 

7. We have a small BBQ that is available on request for all 8 hour + trips. It takes up room so numbers on board needs to be considered (particularly if around the 10-12 mark), please discuss this with Luke. Fine weather is required for it to function, so final decision to take it on board will be made on the day by the Skipper.

8. If you are booking a half day trip (5 Hour), please select start times from the following windows: 6 - 7.30am, or 1.30 - 3pm. This is to ensure our skipper has an hour around midday to get the boat ready for the next trip. You may contact us the night before your trip to see if another booking has come in for that day, and if not we are happy to be fully flexible with the start time.

 

"FISH" Packages

1. We have a maximum of 6 people aboard for our "FISH" Trips.

2. Fishing gear is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

3. Bait and Ice are included in the price for the "FISH". You may bring your own in addition to that provided if you have a particular favourite.

4. Fish filleting is not included in the price, if this is something you require please discuss with Luke prior to doing your trip.

5. On rare occasions we will permit more than 6 people for our fishing trips (up to 10). In these situations all clients must bring their own fishing gear and a surcharge of $150 for every extra person over 6 is required to cover the significant wear and tear that happens to the boat, and the additional time cleaning after these trips.

 

"COMBO" Packages

1. We have a maximum of 8 people aboard for our "COMBO" Trips. Please ensure there are adequate adults to ensure safety on board for any children. We request a minimum ratio of 2 adults for every 3 children but please call to discuss as necessary.

2. Fishing gear is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

3. Bait and Ice are included in the price for the "COMBO". You may bring your own in addition to that provided if you have a particular favourite.

 

"EXPLORE" Packages

1. We have a maximum of 10 people aboard for our "EXPLORE" Trips. Please ensure there are adequate adults to ensure safety on board for any children. We request a minimum ratio of 2 adults for every 3 children but please call to discuss as necessary.

2. We have a selection of basic snorkelling gear and wetsuits that you are free to choose from but we recommend bringing your own where possible to ensure you get an appropriate size.

3. We have two 10'6 paddleboards and one 17' paddleboard available for use. These are upon request due to available space on the boat.

 

"BIG GAME FISHING" Package

1. We have a maximum of 6 people aboard for our "BIG GAME FISHING" Trips.

2. Fishing gear is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

3. Bait and Ice are included in this trip price.
